What is a reamp?
Reamping is a process that allows you to use a guitar take recorded straight to the computer and re-record it through a real amplifier in a real space with a microphone and back to the computer.
The benefits of reamping are enormous.
Reamping is suitable for those who record at home straight to the computer but want the sound of an excellent amplifier recorded in a professional studio.
It allows you to concentrate on a perfect performance and only then think about the sound.
You can go back and change the sound according to the advanced and changing mix
and allows you to easily add layers of depth and color to recordings.
Of course, ramping can also be done for taking vocals, synth and much more.
Graz has three of the highest quality amplifiers you could ask for and a variety of great microphones to record with.

The recording process
1. Give a perfect take and record it clean directly to the computer
2. Send us the take in the same quality as your recording (for example 48KHz 24 Bit) clean without effects or EQ etc..
3. Give a ring to update that you have sent the take and choose the amplifier through which you would like to sample.
4. In our studio, we will play your take through the chosen amplifier. We will record to the computer and send you back the new channels.
